Paris Day 4 (Part 1) Notre Dame & Random Sights

We're finally getting adjusted to the time change! The weather has been spectacular...similar to home but sunnier from what we hear... :) lots and lots of walking, as you can imagine but nice that the Metro is a ten-minute walk one way; small neighborhood grocery stores nearby.
We had downloaded several of Rick Steve's walking tours which were a plus in seeing details we would have otherwise missed, and his humor at points in the audio were entertaining! One that he stressed on the notre Dame portion? ....That the pick pockets love to go to church!
Cathedral of Notre Dame

Four brides having their pictures taken outside the church. We suspect that they weren't really married there...at least not on that morning because the church was packed hour after hour with people attending Mass...

http://www.parischerie.com/4384/lovers-bridge-over-the-seine-river/ An interesting article about the bridge with Lovers' Locks... It was a fascinating site!

Funny... Dick said he forgot his/our lock... Hmmm...

ILe St. Louis design business

I could work here! Ile St. Louis design business. Supposedly this island is the wealthiest and most chic part of Paris!

Paris' Latin Quarter

The Latin Quarter of Paris...the only "service rapide" (fast food) area we saw....busy area...lots of night life!
